The dog’s eyes followed us and it slowly made its way towards us, we reached out to Petit but it mistook our hand for food and tried to know it that’s when we knew we had to do something to help this poor soul
We pulled our resources and bought some food for the dog but it was clear that it needed more than just one meal we decided to take it to the nearest vet clinic and get it checked out
The dog whom we later found out was named siros fought for his life but eventually came out of the clinic with a clean bill of health. The vet informed us that siros had been malnourished for days and it was a miracle that he had survived the coal and hunger in the city
His protruding bones were no longer visible and he looked happier and healthier. We took turns taking care of him and making sure that he had all the food and attention.
He needed in just one week zeros had gained a considerable amount of weight and we knew that. He would be just fine his bones would heal and he would become chubby once again it was a joy to see.
